Rob's Import Repair

The short story of my experience was that I called with a coolant leak, and they got me in within 2 days. I received a loaner vehicle because the work was going to be a longer period of time. I asked them do some additional maintenance while they had my water pump out, like changing the timing belt. I had to drive out to Detroit the next day, and they had my car ready at the perfect time that I had to leave town. Seeing photos of the repair and possible future issues was very helpful with future preventative maintenance. Communication was fantastic, and the price was a couple hundred less than what I thought it was going to be. Quickest turnaround I've ever had with a mechanic with the amount of work that was involved (1 day). Great for import repairs on my VW, and a previously owned Audi. If you have an import, take it here for maintenance and fixes. They are professional, and knowledgeable. They aren't the cheapest, but you don't want the cheapest mechanic in town. I’ve used robs for almost everything you can think of that could be wrong with a vehicle. They are incredibly thorough and very communicative and transparent. The staff is always helpful and treat me as an old friend, remembering my name, situation, repair, and compliant with any special requests I have. The price doesn’t matter, I won’t go anywhere else. Rob's did a fine job of listening to what I wanted done. Appreciate how they document what they find with pictures and narrative. Having access to a free loaner is definitely a bonus.
