NW Best Auto Repair

I brought my car here a few months ago when the engine suddenly began making a loud whining noise. They told me the whine was coming from the timing chain side of the engine and there was also a rod knock. They wanted $4500 to rebuild the engine so I brought it to another shop for a second opinion. The other shop told me the whine was coming from the power steering pump (which is on the opposite side from the timing chain) and there was no knock. I replaced the power steering pump and my car resumed running perfectly and quietly, so the second shop was clearly correct. I don't know if this was attempted fraud or if they're just incompetent, but either way you should not bring your car here for any reason. Edit: I've added my receipt to show that I did go to this shop. They misspelled my name on it which is probably why they couldn't find a record of my visit. The person behind the counter said it would be $4500 for an engine rebuild but didn't provide a written quote.

Me and my wife only come here because they always take care of us in a professional and timely manner. Recently Kenny gave us a great deal on a set of tires and had us back on the road the same day for our trip. We felt a lot better taking our journey knowing our vehicle was safe.

*THIS COMPANY USED MY CAR FOR THEIR OWN PERSONAL LEISURE WHILE I WAS GONE!!!* They had my car for over 3 months while I was away in Texas to fix a fuel pump and the windshield. The business closed while I was away, and they left my car at the place they sent it to get to get windshield replaced. The owner of the windshield place was upset that they didn't pay him yet(even though I paid them to pay him), so I paid twice for my windshield replacement just so I could get my car back. The car was spilling gas out everywhere because they didn't not successfully repair my fuel pump and I had to take it to someone who knew what they were doing. Now here is the best part, I open the trunk and there are a bunch of things that aren't mine including rolled up carpets, a flashlight, a huge pair of bolt cutters, and a bag full of women's clothes. I am a male, and the owner of this place was a male... he either crossdresses or he lent out/rented out my car to someone while I was gone. The car also h
