Busy place. Small company but seem to be very knowledgeable and capable. Diagnosed my problem and took care of it. Prices seem reasonable. Friendly personnel.

I've gone to them many times, they would show me what was wrong to build trust and we're always kind in dealing with me. They are fast and responsive as well. I've had them change a radiator, front and back brakes, oil, and probably a few things I've forgotten. I usually check prices online and they seem fair, though Seattle is always a bit more expensive just given the cost of doing business here.

The check engine light on my 2013 Ford Flex had been on for years. I used one of those devices that give you a code and was told by another shop that it had something to do with my emissions and not to worry about it, so I didn't worry about it. Fast forward to now, the "Service AWD" light suddenly came on and since I was going to be out of town decided it was a good idea to get it checked out. We recently moved and I had not secured a local mechanic so based on word of mouth I gave Alki Auto Repair a call. They were immediately accommodating letting me know that if I was flexible I could bring my car in that day and they would try and look at in the next couple days, so I did. I told them when I needed my car back and that as long as I had it back by that date they can take as long as they needed to look at it and address the issue. They communicated in a timely fashion, were honest and straight to the point and I feel that the price was 100% reasonable! I now have a reliable mechanic
