I brought my wife's Lexus to Greg's Japanese Auto in Puyallup this morning to have a clunking noise in the rear suspension repaired. I asked them to diagnose the problem and repair it. I suggested the rear sway bar bushings may need to be replaced based on my internet research, but made it clear I wanted them to diagnose the problem. The quote they provided included a charge for the diagnoses, which I was fine with. When I went to pick up the car they said they replaced the bushings, but it did not fix the problem. They said they were really busy and didn't have time to diagnose the problem, so they would remove the charge for the diagnosis. So I had to pay them almost $600 and the clunking noise is no better.
