Skagit Hyundai

My first and last experience here. I tried to schedule some maintenance on my car the quote they gave me was ridiculous. The everett location where I purchased my car gave me a quote of 200. They can't get me in until November The quote from the skagit location. Was 587. No idea why it was so much higher. First impressions are important. The service rep didn't make a good one on me. :(

This review is based on experience with both sales and service departments. I purchased a 2022 certified pre-owned vehicle on 8/1/23. The salesperson, Craig Gruber, is very knowledgeable about the car I purchased and was able to answer all my questions as I went through all the features of the car. While there was a knowledge gap with what is included with Certified Pre-Owned vehicles, and inaccurate information on Skagit Hyundai's website, we agreeably sorted that out after speaking with the manager Joe. I was also low-balled on the trade-in value on my car and was offered the lowest amount than all the other dealerships' offers, but we were able to agree on a price. The accounting department did not file the paperwork in a timely fashion like they said they would, and after 7 weeks, I'm still waiting for my title. We purchased a 2023 Hyundai Kona and are very happy with the car so far. The cars are selling slightly below MSRP. From start to finish we were very pleased with Ian, who happens to be the assistant manager. He was incredibly helpful and not at all pushy. He was honest and upfront. We test drove 20+ different vehicles at 10 different dealers. Most experiences weren’t great. Pushy and dishonest sales people are still the norm most places. Our vehicle did get backed into when entering the parking lot, so that wasn’t great- no dealership representative came outside. The most unpleasant part was dealing with the finance associate, Malachi. I was intending on paying cash, but couldn’t turn down the amazing rates Hyundai financial offered.The finance guy was obnoxious and incredibly pushy. He wouldn’t shut up about being from Texas and kept repeating stories in the 45+ minute interaction. We were in a hurry but sat through his spiel.
