Oil N' Go

Charged me $75 for a state inspection and said it failed. Brought the car to Burlington Subaru to get the work they said it needed done and was told nothing was wrong with it and it passes inspection. Oil n Go will not refund me the $75. At the end of the day I have to decide whose word to trust; a quick change oil place or a dealership where I've never had a bad experience? Won't go here again and wouldn't recommend it. These issues aside, Burlington Subaru charges $55 for a state inspection. Girlington Garage is also a better option nearby. Edit: You'll see if you look through the negative reviews that when someone complains about an inspection, Oil n Go will say that they will report the garage that issued a sticker to the DMV, who will inspect your vehicle and remove the sticker if they decide Oil n Go was correct. This is framed as a threat, that you will have no choice but to go through this process. In reality, it is entirely optional. Someone from the DMV called me and offered

We just popped in for a nail in the tire. They squeezed us in even though they were super busy. Really appreciated them getting us in and out as fast as possible. Great service they are doing it right.

Connor, Brittany, and the whole team take exceedingly good care of me and my car and I only hope that I will be able to go to them for everything my car might need in the future. They're kind, very efficient, knowledgeable, and they do an excellent job whether it's a simple oil change or something more complicated. They're always willing to explain everything patiently and in language that I understand, giving me options so that I can make the most informed decision possible for my vehicle. My former service center closed very abruptly, leaving me with nowhere to go but the dealership, which I want to avoid unless it's absolutely critical.
