The staff was pleasant, helpful, and knowledgeable. They kept me informed, provided options, and followed through. They seemed to like their jobs and each other. All in all, a very good experience.

I have had some bad experiences at other Firestone franchises, but today redeemed my faith in them and humanity in general! I bought a set of four Firestone Destination tires, as I’ve done on several of my vehicles in the past, and got the complementary “alignment check“ after installation. When they called to tell me it was ready, I first said, “let me guess, it needs an alignment right” and was ready to ask them what the actual results were to see how far out of factory spec it was (I knew it wasn’t because I only had around 15,000 miles on the existing tires and they showed no abnormal wear at all). That is usually a major scam by tire dealers. Sometimes it can be out .001 degree and technically be out of spec, but they proved to me they are an honest shop. I also told them not to check any service items like air filters as they usually make those type of recommendations, so they didn’t! I rarely write reviews, but they deserve one here. I have been taking all of my cars for services at Firestone on OAK Grove Firestone 2048 Electric RD, Roanoke, VA 24018. The last time I took my 2015 Chevy Suburban for service on November 15th 2022 at Firestone on 2048 Electric RD, Roanoke, VA 24018. They did the Oil Change on my Suburban on November 14th and failed to tighten the drain plug. It was just finger tight. I started smelling some burning smell every time I was driving so I went back and asked Josh to check and see what was happening. Well he opened the hood and checked oil and added some oil and told me you are good to go. However I was still smelling that burning oil smell so I went back 2 weeks later with the same complaint since the smell was not going away and he did the same thing to check Suburban's oil level and added some oil and told me you are good to go, didn't bother checking the leak.
