Great experience. The (owner?) was honest and had good intentions with recommendations, including suggesting against certain repairs given my plan for the car. He was easily reachable and kept in contact. I would highly recommend this shop.

I’m so happy to have found Van Dorn Auto Repair. I moved to Alexandria a couple years ago and was so nervous I wouldn’t find a good auto repair especially since I have no car knowledge and I’m a single woman. From the very first visit I’ve had nothing but good experiences and I really feel like I can trust them and their advice. Everyone there makes you feel like part of their family. I can’t recommend them enough!

Making appointments are easy, and if you need a ride back or to borrow a vehicle until your car is complete they happily make it possible for you so you can get back to your family or run errands. Staff are wonderful to work with, honest, and never try to pressure you into having more work done on your vehicle than is needed to drive safely. Prices are competitive and the team is very professional and personable. Will continue to go to them as long as we live in NOVA! Thanks VDA!
