I've been coming here for several years. I bring my Subaru and Kia. Johnny fixes what needs to be fixed and tells you if you can leave it alone. Have taken my 2004 Honda Accord sedan here twice and will do so again the next time it needs work. It’s not the luxurious experience you would get going to a dealer, but if you just need to have your car fixed without paying extra for the coffee and air conditioned waiting room with cable TV, call and talk to Johnny. My last visit to have brake work done they found some other things that needed attention and I was provided with multiple options and a range of costs for how the immediate issues could be addressed. He did mention that otherwise the car was in great shape for it’s age and that I must do the regular maintenance (oil and lube) because he saw no issues with the engine or anything else, even when I mentioned the big upcoming trip in my near future. Had a chat with another customer in the waiting area who has been coming back to Japanese Auto City for years. I’ve finally found my mechanic!
