I had my transmission rebuilt here less than a year ago and it has been nothing but a headache since. Every ~2 months a new issues with the transmission comes up and I have to take it back to the shop where the car sits for several weeks before they get it working again. This has happened 4 times in less than a year. Their work was completely unreliable and they don't want to give you the time of day when you come in for a warranty issue. I ended up having to sell my car at a loss (plus the price of the rebuild) because I wasn't comfortable leaving town with it. Take you car somewhere else. Service: Transmission

I needed to repair a Nissan factory defect that allowed coolant fluid to leak into the transmission. They were friendly and quick. It took about 3 days and around $4000 to rebuild the transmission. Just shy of 3 years later, my reverse begins to fail. I took it back to Transmission City. They warranty the transmission for 1 year, while most offer only 6 months. Even so, they recommended rebuilding the transmission again and gave me the best pricing. But with inflation it would be closer to $5K. I simply couldn't afford to do so. Even if I could, it's completely impractical to be rebuilding the transmissions every 3 years. Service: Transmission repair
