Took my Chevy in to get the CV axles replaced because they were clicking. When I brought it in to have them changed, I emphasized multiple times that I just wanted the CV axles replaced. I was told by their mechanic that he "glanced at my CV axles and they looked fine" and instead was charged over 3 grand to work on the driveshaft. I'm not sure how a "glance" can tell you that they're fine, but after having coughed up 3 thousand dollars for some suspicious sounding repairs, my CV's are still giving me issues.
