AAMCO Transmissions & Total Car Care

Little frustrating with the cost of getting a transmission rebuilt. I was told 1800 to 3500 and got quoted for 4560 after they started tearing into it. Customer service is great, really understanding guys that make it easier on you, just wish they made it easier to plan for these costs instead of having to get it into the shop and have them start working and then tell you the cost. I work in auto glass industry so I understand the cost of inflation but to get a transmission serviced is ridiculous.

My transmission lost reverse and wasn't shifting properly. This happened as I was towing my fifth wheel. AAMCO of Ogden rebuilt my transmission with more heavy duty parts which costs more but I can now tow without worrying about any transmission failures. It took about a week to repair and four more days to work out the programming. They were accomidating and professional and did good work. Service: Transmission
