I called multiple shops around New Braunfels to have someone check out the transmission in our car. I spoke to Sid at aamco and he was able to work us in for a quick diagnostic. He presented the diagnostics and laid out clear options on how to go forward. All for no charge. The guys here are professional, courteous and knowledgeable. I don't think we're going to fix this vehicle but I will absolutely take our vehicles back the next time we need service.

I have had my vehicle there 3 times for the same issue. First time it was leaking coolant and they said it needed to I have the radiator replaced. $1,000 for the replacement and labor and additional parts.... Got the truck back and within a week it was doing the same thing. Brought it back in because it was leaking coolant and the temperature gauge was fluctuating. They "replaced" the radiator again and I went on my way. The temperature gauge was constantly fluctuating for the next several months. Brought it back in a third time on a Friday. Explicitly told the guy that I needed my truck over the weekend and to not lock my key in the shop. Guess what.... Then locked my key in the shop and I was without my vehicle the whole weekend. Then they told me that the radiator hose had a pinhole. Additional $140 to replace a radiator hose. Truck temperature gauge is still fluctuating. I'm tempted to take it back for a fourth go, but I'm just wondering what the price tag will be?
