We went there for a brake bleed, oil change and serpentine belt. We had an appointment at 10 am to which we were early. While waiting in line, a woman was there with an issue and he flat told her that his guys were not skilled enough to do the work and sent her away. For us, an hour went by, then 2. Finally, the manager came out and said that they would not do the brake bleed because they couldn't take off what they needed to and stopped trying. No option for us to say "if you break the caliper, we will pay for another one"... NOTHING! Just that they refused to try. We were waiting 3 hours for an oil change and serpentine belt, with an appointment. We have always used Firestone for our repairs and have never had this happen to us. Not to mention that we used our Firestone credit card and was not given the guaranteed 5% discount. We paid full price for everything. Highly disappointed is an UNDERSTATEMENT.

I went into the shop because my car was marking an overheating problem on the dash. Sure enough, it was the fan that was busted (I had the same issue 1 year ago since there’s been a recall on the part, but the cost was nothing near the quote they gave me). They charged $80 for the check-up, which I expected, but when they called with a quote of $700+ I knew something was up. I asked for the breakdown, and they only mentioned the part and labor over the phone. It turns out when I went by to pick up my car and to pay the check-up that, they were charging me for an overpriced oil change and a filter change plus overpriced part and labor. The fan without a mechanic discount (which they should have) costs $300. They were charging me $300 for the part + labor. Luckily I found out my old fan had a lifetime warranty at the auto part store I went to, and I only had to pay for labor at a local trusted shop. I would advise folks who choose Firestone Auto-care to check the quote sheet for extra ch
