My Dodge Journey battery light came on while traveling on Friday afternoon about 8:02 PM. I changed out the battery myself the next day, but after a few miles the light came back on. I drove it straight to Christian Brothers Automotive in Midland. I had to leave it and put the fob in an envelope. I could not set ip an appt. for Mon on line because they were booked. I put in one for “after hours Mon” as a last resort. I got a call about 8:15 AM Mon asking for permission to do the testing. I was surprised but “Yes” as soon as you can. They did & after a few conversations and some good work. I was able to pick up my keys & car that very same Mon! Great work Christian Brothers and it is running great! Thank you!! The things I like the most about Christian Brothers is they are very honest with what the issue can be, the potential other issues, because of how systems work, and as far as I can tell from my knowledge of part pricing, they are very on par with their pricing. Took my car in for oil leak diagnostics. No leak found just heavy consumption but no exact answer to the cause. They don’t do full engine repair when tear down of motor is required. When I picked it up, it now has a check engine light on with a misfire and the only option given was to have the same tech look it over. I’m not going to have the guy that pushed it over the limit re check it. So now I’m most likely out a motor and out the diagnostic fee.
