Fifth Gear Automotive-Lewisville

Let me start by saying that I am extremely cautious about who touches my 1967 Corvette. Most technicians today have very little knowledge about these older cars and are afraid to work on them. So finding a competent shop that is willing to work on my '67 can be challenging to say the least. I did my due diligence in checking out Fifth Gear Automotive and called them to "interview" them over the phone. I was fortunate to have Jeff Smith (Service Advisor) answer the phone. I spent about five minutes asking Jeff questions about my car's needs. She needed a four wheel alignment and strut rods installed. Now, though this may not sound like a big deal...it is. There are few alignment shops that are capable and who can correctly align an old Corvette with independent rear suspension. Jeff assured me that their alignment tech (Dave Chase) could do the job. Jake was great on the phone explaining the process of alignment and made my appointment. Then Brandon checked me out. Loved getting my car washed along with the needed service. Never a bad experience at 5th gear. Being a female I’ve never felt like they were trying to over sell me on anything I didn’t need. The courtesy vehicle driver (Kyle) was very friendly and a good driver. Services: General repairs & maintenance, Vehicle Inspection, Oil change
