Firestone Complete Auto Care

We recently went to that Firestone and we bought two tires with the insurance. A couple of months after we had a flat and took it to get it fix. The nail was on the outside like 1/8 of the last thread towards the wall and they said that it was not repairable and they said that they could sell one for $180. So I ask them what good is the insurance . I just spent about $75 for Ins and now you still want us to pay $180. I took it to another place and they show me a pic where it shows the repairable area and it was within the area so they just patch it for $20 . I ask the manager at FS if they had the pic and he said no . I told him that it was from the DOT. I ask him if he knew what DOT means n he said no but his guys where fully trained . Last he ask if he could help me with something and I ask him with what. I bought the insurance which was useless I will never go back . I should have gone to Sam’s. Only reason was it was going to take a couple of days.

I have taken my company’s vehicle to Firestone-McPherson for repair THREE TIMES. The van failed to start. First time they replaced the battery. Worked good for one week and it failed to start again. Took it in for the second time and they said the battery (new one) was defective. One week and again it failed to start. Took it the third time and they said that the battery, starter, and alternator were good. THEY DID NOT FIND THE PROBLEM! I’ll make sure we don’t go to Firestone again. They’re incompetent and expensive.

Do Not recommend!! Worst experience! Whats the point of making appoints when you show up on time and two and half hours past your appointment time I am still waiting for my car to be serviced!! The sad part is that I took my car in last week as a walk in and they recommended an appointment so that I don't have to wait so I agreed and here I am waiting for almost three hours!! REALLY BAD EXPERIENCE!!! UPDATE:: after waiting 3 and half hours, we had to ask for our keys because nothing had been done to car and by the looks of it nothing was going to get done soon! Excuse: your car was not logged in properly as “in progress”. Why didn’t they see that mistake the 3 times we kindly ask for an update??? It took us asking for our keys for them to see it?? WOW! Whats the point emailing customer care?? Are they actually going to come in and fix my tire? Or also make up excuses for the shop??? I guess we will find out! Service: Tires
