Jiffy Lube

Normally I have had good experiences with Jiffy Lube. I took my 2016 Ford Explorer in because the AC wasn’t cooling properly. They checked it out, evacuated the system, recharged it. The AC cooled until the next day. I took it back and they said it had Freon, but I needed to run the rear AC for the circulation. Anyway, it stopped cooling. I decided to take it to my mechanic and they found the problem. It was the shutters on the radiator that cool the condenser. The actuator was stripped keeping the shutters closed, thus not allowing airflow. My AC was misdiagnosed so I’m out $150. The GM refused to refund my money. Basically argued with me, asking “was it cooking when you picked it up?” I will never use Jiffy Lube again, because this GM doesn’t give a damn about customer service. You’ll be out a lot more than $150 over the next year or so. Just admit you misdiagnosed it, make your customer happy. I even have the invoice from my mechanic that fixed it.

I’ve never had an unpleasant experience here! The guys are always super nice and take their time to thoroughly explain things. Saved me a ton of money my last visit too!

When My Vehicle was pulled into the Bay to be Worked on, 4 of the Employees gathered around My Vehicle, 2 were leaning on my Vehicle doing nothing but talking, one was actually doing the Inspection and another was just standing on the side doing nothing. Employees shouldn't be Leaning on Customers Vehicles with their Foot on the Bumper for any!! Reason!! They could have been doing something else more constructive like cleaning up or something like that. I can only Hope this Survey gets taken seriously.
