Omar is perhaps one of the best service people I’ve come across in a long time. They are honest, professional, thorough, and affordable. One of the few mechanics in the city that doesn’t try to suggest 10 million things being wrong with your car. I’ll definitely continue using this shop for my car care needs in the future. I initially found Sackett Auto when I was looking for a repair place next to my house after moving from further outside the city. I saw Sackett had great reviews and brought my car in. I have little technical knowledge of cars and was nervous about feeling pressured at a car repair shop the same way I did at my dealership, but Omar guided me through what repairs were needed for my car and went above and beyond answering every one of my questions. He is transparent and prompt about communicating what is needed and the price of the repairs. When I was in the market for a new car, Omar gave me great advice/pointers on the car buying process which is why I take my new car to Sackett too. I recommend this place to all of my friends and will continue taking my car here as long as I can.

About a year ago I was having problems with my car turning over. I thought it was the starter so I purchased a new starter and took it to Sackett to have it installed. After Jerry reviewed my truck (06 F150) he said that I needed a new flywheel installed; they also recommended the new starter be installed at the same time. I agreed and they installed the new flywheel and turnaround time was quick. The price was fair for the work performed. They gave me a 1 year warranty on the parts and labor and now 1 year later I am not having any issues so I am happy to leave the review. My truck is old so I would definitely go back here first if I have any more trouble. Service: Engine repair
