Highly honest and reliable. I've been bringing my truck to GNS for years and never once have I felt that I was overcharged or charged for work that perhaps was unnecessary. I tend to be a skeptic, but in this case, I fully trust this shop. BJ (the owner) is the best, and on a number of occasions has really gone the extra mile to get me taken care of. 1 Star for the guy at the front counter for being pleasant. To do business here is to promote inflation!! I brought my suv here for a simple AC Recharge and was quoted $120 and a couple hours wait w/o appt. No problem since everything is slightly more expensive. A couple hrs later they call to tell me it'll be $160!! TF!? I complain about the inflation, so he calls the owner. Owner doesn't care and claims freon prices tripled. I reply, "you've had my vehicle for hours now. I'm not canceling to waste my time or yours, but if you charge me $160 it's the last dime you get from me, my family and friends." Needless to say he still didn't care. So be it! While they're recharging my AC I call other shop nearby. Frank's automotive charges $70 and another less than a mile away charges $100.... same exact service!! I payed nearly double to test this companies integrity. You decide if you want to test mine. Like other reviewers have mentioned, I got ripped off here after asking specifically for a diagnostic check but they insisted they knew what was wrong and didn’t do one. The tech confidently told me he knew *exactly* what was wrong so they charged me $300 to change a Chevy Cruze valve cover gasket. super hasty and false diagnosis. I ended up getting it fixed somewhere else, it was just a spark plug issue but they somehow completely overlooked that. Recommend going somewhere else where they listen to your requests, not sure why it’s so hard to get a full diagnostic at this complete auto care place.
