Pep Boys

Would not recommend. I was in the auto repair business for several years. All I had done was a tire install. After I left the facility, the TPMS light came on. It is common for some cars to take a short drive before it comes on but that should have been done before delivery of my vehicle. You should never return a car to the driver with the TPMS on. There was zero tolerance for that at any shop I ever worked at. It is a safety hazard. Since it took almost an hour longer to perform the install than quoted I doubt it was a matter of hurrying. Which still would have been bad but at least an excuse.

Although I ended but having to wait for much longer than expected, the boys were poised and ready waiting for the parts we needed to arrive. They were swift once the parts from another location got to us, though. Bathroom was kinda gross, but not the worst ever. The waiting area has tea and coffee. Pricing is very fair as well.

I had a leak in my tire that was causing me to fill up with air every single day for 3 days before I made an appointment and went to this pep boys. They took 45 mins before telling me there was no leak because they had checked the whole tire and sprayed it down everywhere and found nothing wrong. I took it to Costco and they found a nail and were able to patch it. Not sure how pep boys missed a nail in the tire but at least they didn’t charge me for doing nothing.
