I have a Chevy Silverado with a 6.0 V8, which sounds awesome and all, until it dies. I took it to Frisco Automotive as I've actually been taking my cars there since I was just starting out driving. Mr. Warren, called me with bad news. Long story short, It was gonna cost me a LOT of money. Mr. Warren, then worked out the cheapest route he could go for each individual part, and had a conversation with the tech. When he got back with me he said that if they only swapped the parts they absolutely needed to, then the tech would not have to charge as much labor, and I would pay less in parts. That brought the price down by 3,200 dollars. I agreed, and they fixed the truck fast. When I showed up to pay, they said there was another part that was still in good working order that they managed to save, and they billed me 1,000 dollars less. Mr. Warren and the folks of Frisco Automotive are a rare breed. They are honest mechanics, and have been for a long time. They managed to save me 4,20
I own a 2018 Tahoe and blew up my 6.2 engine. I took it to the guys at FRISCO, AUTOMOTIVE to get it fixed. Never a cheap or simple issue. They not only delivered it quickly but under budget! Just had my first oil change in the new engine, and I swear that my Tahoe runs better today than when it was brand new! Thank you FRISCO Automotive!!
They took advantage of my daughter in college who had an 2003 honda accord alternator problem. They gave her a lowball quote but when it came to pay, they charged her $692. I talked to warren from the shop and I told him they misled her and told him that's overpriced; and you can get an alternator for less than $100. He said he didnt mislead her and there's no place you can get an alternator that cheap ("see rockauto"- where the i got the old one that lasted 5 years) and just hanged up on me. They didn't even get her a discount for the old alternator core. Lesson is, when this shop gives you a quote. ask for a paper copy and DON"T trust this guys
