In June, I brought my mother's Subaru Forester in to have the AC evaluated because it was not cooling. The recommendation was that the entire AC system needed to be replaced. My mother is 81 and I live in Alaska and would not be able to help her over the summer so I convinced her to spend the over $2000 to do the replacement. I left for home, assured that she would be cool in the crazy Texas heat. Three weeks or four weeks later I got word that the AC had quit cooling completely. She could barely get to the places she needed to unless it was evening. So much for feeling assured she would be cool and safe in her car. She lives in Houston so my brother who also lives out of state convinced her to take it to another Christian Brothers. They made a repair to the NEW system that may have been damage caused to the compressor during installation. Fast forward to Sept. 23. Since that repair, the unit has stopped working FOUR times, been "repaired" by Christian Brothers four times and tonight
