Firestone Complete Auto Care

Needed to get my AC inspected since it wasn’t blowing cool air. They were swamped and all slots were full since it was the weekend, but I came early in the morning and they fit me in, topped me off and had me out by noon. Paid 3x the cost of a can of the DIY stuff, but worth the peace of mind that I didn’t have any leaks and was filled with the right amount.

I want to say they performed the service well and did what I requested for my car, nothing wrong with the work. However, in the past I have been able to get an oil change for $50 at most and Firestone has always been upfront with the price. After requesting an oil change I asked if I needed to pay now or later. I was told not to worry about it. When I came back I was charged over $100 for an oil change of 5qt. When I asked about the price the cashier only pointed to the filter being the cause of the high price. After reviewing the invoice, Firestone raised the oil cost to $92, triple the amount at Walmart and other locations in the area. When I returned to discuss the price change she then said the oil price had gone up (not the filter). I’ve been to some really nice Firestone locations and have had great experiences, however this one did meet expectations. Service: Oil change
