Pep Boys

Honestly, we came with our fleet car and it seemed like they couldn't say no fast to us. Half a dozen excuses later and we ended up driving 20 minutes to another shop. Who fit us in and finished by end of day.

If I could give a 0 zero star, I would. We arrived for our scheduled 11 AM appointment at 10:47 AM for a alignment check on a year or 12,000 mile warranty. Was immediately told we would have to wait an hour and a half. We purchased 2 new rear tires from a competitor 01/21/2023 and car had odometer reading of 130,427 when we purchased them. When we initially had the alignment on 3/19/2023 with mileage on the pep Boys paperwork and odometer at 132,303. Today 9/1/2023 the odometer has 136,377. They said the back tires were worn and would not be able to do the alignment. My husband told Corey and the manager to align the front tires only and they stated the the machine could only do all 4 which is not true. Sounds like somebody was wanting us to buy 2 new tires. We showed him the paperwork/receipt for the tire purchase and they still refused saying they were not balanced right. Obviously this was not the case and wouldn't /shouldn't they have noticed it initially with a couple thousan

I bought tires and scheduled my appointment to have them mounted by Pep Boys through Tire Rack. When I arrived for my 10 am appointment, I was told they would not be able to start working on my car until 11:30. When I returned at 11:30 to drop off my car, I was told it would be ready by 12:30, but it was not ready until 1:20. The online progress tracker was completely useless - it never changed from “scheduled” to any other status. What had worked flawlessly with NTB in the past was a complete failure with Pep Boys.
