Gonzos Transmissions

Went there November of 2019, to get my Transmission Replaced as some gears were not working. At the time I was told I would have a 1yr warranty including both Labor & Parts. Currently not even a year later, the transmission has failed, with the exact same issues I took it in 2019. However, he has failed to honor the warranty he told me about when first choosing this place. Wouldn't recommend them, as their work is lackluster not even lasting the year, while transmissions from other places have lasted me nearly 5 yrs. With so many places in Houston, please go somewhere else, and actually get quality & Decent Customer Service for your money. Service: Transmission

Once again I have had excellent service at Gonzos Transmission shop. I couldn't be happier! I had my Engine rebuilt in my 06 trailblazer and is running like new. There's nothing better then leaving your car knowing that you have an honest and trustworthy mechanic do the work your car needs. I had my Transmission rebuilt a couple months back aswell. I still highly recommend this place. Awesome and professional service coming from this shop.

I stopped by to see if they could do a filter change on my transmission on a car that I own and the owner was honest enough to tell me that that transmission was not one that he wanted to work on. He also spent a lot of time explaining things to me and answering questions. He seemed like he was very knowledgeable about the work that he did and he seems to be a very honest person.
