As a woman, I’m always nervous about going to mechanic shops with the fear of getting ripped off. Randy ensured my needs and worries were taken care of. My dad is a mechanic and Randy reminds me so much of him. First impression, Randy had a great attitude, demeanor, and just overall kind. He took care of me immediately and even did my state inspection on the house and said next time to come there if I have a problem with my car. What amazing service.
I can only say two good things about this place. One star goes to Randy who was a gentleman and was very professional and nice. The other star goes to the fact that they didn’t charge me for taking a look at my vehicle. With that said here are the negatives. I had a catalytic converter issue with my vehicle and was told by the crew here that my rear cat was missing and front was damaged. They then wanted to charge me $2900 for before market cats plus labor and $2100 for after market. I was baffled by the price for one cat replacement so I went elsewhere. Turns out that I had my rear cat but my front one was ruptured. I got it fixed no problem for $1100 and the other mechanic even threw in some minor repairs for super cheap. This is why it’s hard to trust a lot of mechanics because of the price gouging. let it be known that if the price seems outrageous it most likely is. Always look for a better deal you just might be rewarded.
Save your money and go elsewhere. I went in after check engine light went on due to an EGR valve issue. I spoke to Mike who originally quoted me $1000 for full replacement. When I asked about high cost, they quoted me $400 for the valve which is $150 at Autozone. When I asked about price difference, they eventually changed quote to $780. Trust was already broken so took to another mechanic who checked everything out, decided valve just needed to be cleaned and it only cost me $89. Haven’t had an issue since. Take your car elsewhere but if you do decide to go to this place, do your research before agreeing to any pricing.
