I went to countless other shops looking for someone to help me patch some badly degraded rust holes in my 2006 Ford E350 adventure van. Everyone just wanted to replace the entire side of the van for a cost of over $10,000. Rudy at Newspeed Automotive told me it would be no problem for them to cut out the rusted areas and weld in metal to replace it, then finish and paint it to look new. That's exactly what happened. Not only does the van look as good as new, but it was all at a fraction of the cost quoted by other shops. Rudy is very easy to work with and his crew is really good at what they do. I was so happy I came back for another small project to fix body issues inside the doors. Once again, service was quick, and it looks really good. Newspeed Automotive on Shirley Ave off Lamar is on point. Pulled my Dodge Challenger that I was having issues with and was fixed that day immediately. I couldn't be more happy with the service. I was visiting Austin when my catalytic converters were stolen off of my Tundra. I had a 4 hour drive to get back home and a commitment I needed to get to. I took my truck to Rudy. Not only did he take my truck that day, he was very friendly and helpful, and he got my truck fixed and got me back on the road in four hours! I couldn't believe it! I honestly hope I never need Rudy's services again, but, if I ever did, I wouldn't hesitate to take my vehicle back to him.
