Drury - Moss Collision

We were on the way to New Mexico on vacation when our vacation was shortened in Amarillo with a wreck. Our truck was towed to Drury Body Shop and a young man named Kelly was assigned to help us thru the repair work. Kelly was great and very knowledgeable and very patient as this was our first wreck. Called Drury Body Shop to get an estimate on damages on our vehicle. I was told that they do give estimates unless it is an insurance claim. So, if you want to pay for damages yourself go somewhere else was their response. The excuse giving was that they are under new ownership, understaffed and no longer do that. It is sad that a company like this does not want to help a customer that has used them twice in the past year. Which also owns a couple of insurance agencies that sends business to them in the past. We will no longer be sending business to Drury and or their sister shop Moss. Insurance Agent

Customer representative was polite and professional. They arranged free Uber rides. I was kept informed on progress via texts. Job appears to be done well. Car returned as clean as the day i bought it new. They fiddled with some user settings, like the folding mirrors which i did not care either way however the car seems to run a little better (when i stomp on the gas) and gas mileage on recent 300 mile trip. The only negative is the duration of the repair but that was fair since the estimated duration was longer. They beat their estimate. My son had a repair at a different place a year ago and they took a long time. I guess car mechanical repair times are much shorter than car body repair times even for parking lot accidents. Update 6/9/22. The improved gas mileage I observed (in hindsight) was obviously due to the fact I drove slower (65 mph instead of 75 mph) at night during the trip I observed that.
