Went in for a fairly simple suspension issue. They assured me they could fix it. Made an appointment over 3 weeks out so his “specialist” could work my issue. However, the owner Larry was dishonest and didn’t keep the original appointment…so I rescheduled :( He also charged me $150 for a “diagnostic fee” that I had already diagnosed. I was originally recommended to him by a neighbor. Instead, after getting strung along, I went elsewhere after I had been rescheduled and forgotten about over the course of 3 months. Very disappointed. He could have had a life long & loyal customer but instead I won’t be returning. Bottom line…this place is filled with a bunch of dishonest swindlers that don’t have the technical expertise to fix relatively easy issues.

I first started going to this garage as a teenager. My grandfather took all of his Vehicles here. my family has been using them for years, Mr Mattei's nephew has now taken over the shop and he's has the same Quality Service as his uncle. Most of my family brings their cars here to be worked on. You cannot find a more honest, excellent work ethic in a mechanic anywhere else in the city. Always an excellent job and always at a reasonable price.

At first I thought I had a bad experience, but now I'm inclined to think I was outright scammed. - Sprung $350 in extra charges on me after the car was disassembled. - I asked for some time to think this over, which they agreed to. Then called back 75 minutes later to say had changed their mind and needed the space, so I could either agree to the additional work immediately or pay them $400 to put my car back together without fixing it. - Overcharged my card $600 more than the billed total. Claimed it was an "accident" when I came back to correct it. I was shocked by all of this because the reviews are so good, but I would definitely recommend steering clear of this place.
