Please never trust your vehicle to Petty Automotive. Barry is a shady mechanic & doesn’t stand behind his work. My mother paid $900 to have the A/C in her car fixed, and less than 2 weeks later it’s back out! Today, we took the car back to Mr. Petty, and he tried to place the blame on my mother. He says, he asked her if she wanted him to check it, because she came in telling him what was wrong. What?!? What kind of mechanic charges someone $900 & doesn’t check for themselves why the air isn’t working? She isn’t a mechanic! He only offered to check the car on Friday, but if it requires another part than it will be an additional charge. This is unacceptable. Again, please save yourself time, money, & frustration by NEVER using these crooks. Reply to Owner: She was referred to your shop to fix her air. Surely, while “fixing” it you saw what was causing the issue. If that is the case, then you do the right thing and call to inform your customer. You don’t say, "here you go, I put the part

I have a F150 Platinum 2010 that the AC would not come on. I was recommended to Petty’s from another well reviewed garage that could not locate the problem.
