Danny came out and looked at my vehicle only to tell me that he could not remove the fuel tank to repair my vehicle. He was told before he was scheduled to come that he probably would have to do just that. He even quoted me a price for dropping the tank and replacing the fuel pump. He then charged me $85 to in essence tell me that he couldn't even diagnose the problem because he couldn't drop the tank due to EPA regulation. I understand that he could not legally perform the work but why even come if you KNOW that you are not going to be able to do it? Do not use this man. I believe he has questionable integrity. I am not complaining about paying a fee for your time if it was worth it. We talked and you quoted me a price for dropping the tank when you KNEW that you could not do that. Your exact words were "...$285 + parts if I have to drop the tank." In essence you lied about being able to complete the service because you quoted something that you could not legally do. Called Danny and set an appointment, he was a little late due to another call which was fine. He checked why my serpentine belt broke and discovered the ac unit was locked up and needed major work which he couldn't do on the spot. He recommended a repair shop and I am now waiting for a pickup call to get my now repaired car. no problem with with the service call charge and the on the spot help with getting a repair shop to take care of the problem.
