Anthony's Transmission and Auto Service

Worst part is if they mess up and you take it back they’ll make you pay for double the labor. Im speaking from experience. These people arent good people.

First day of vacation in MB from NC our transmission went. Called Anthonys at 4:40pm and got Anthony the owner as he was closing up. He told me to have it towed to his shop and he would make it a priority in the morning. That's what he did! They were able to get the transmission rebuilt and get us back on the road within 7 days. About an hour outside MB our transmission was having problems getting in gear above 30 mph. Eventually it had problems at any mph. We managed to limp it to MB and check into our hotel. I stopped in at Autozone as I was pretty certain it was the transmission control solenoid. After talking myself out of the repair and instead enjoying my vacation I decided to find a local shop. There weren't many options in a radius I was comfortable limping the car to. I was a few blocks from Anthonys and figured that was my best bet. He wanted a premium as he insisted on a new torque converter and rebuild. It was a lot to stomach as Anthony can come across cantankerous (it's probably his Pittsburgh roots). All that aside, they did a wonderful job. He put us ahead of others as we were only there for 5 more days. Our car was completed the afternoon before we left for home.
