This is the second time I have used this service. I first used this service in 2021, and Charlie did a fantastic job, so I called again last month. I was sorry to hear that Charlie had moved on. Travis came to my home on February 16th 2023. He diagnosed my problem as several leaks in my cooling system, including the radiator. For this I was charged $256. which seemed excessive, considering that even I could see the leaks. He promised to get back to me with a quote to fix the problerm...but I never heard from him again. This turned out to be fortunate. I found a kid who works at an auto parts store, who fixed the problem for me, for hundreds of dollars less than McFarlands would have charged. It turned out that the radiator was not leaking. Update 4/18/23: I did call Jimmy. I asked him for a full refund. He asked me to send the invoice from my mechanic. Thank you to Jimmy and his amazing crew. Recently had been having issues with my car and went to a different shop to have it fixed well when getting my car back the check engine light came on and felt like the customer service wasn’t great at that shop so I called Jimmy and he told me he would look at it and help me out. They looked at the code, fixed it, and even went the extra mile to fix my radio since the fuse had blown. Great customer service and put my concerns/needs first! Service: Auto engine diagnostic

Don't waste your money. I called and described the electrical issue I was experiencing and I was told it would cost $246, and they would diagnose the problem. They could not diagnose the problem and still charged the full $246. I literally paid that much for someone to come out and not be able to tell me anymore than I originally told them on the phone. But they did offer to send another tech out for an attempt at a diagnosis for another $246.
