This was my first visit to Ledoux's because I couldn't get into my regular mechanic, who is honest, affordable and stands behind his work. I read the reviews and felt somewhat comfortable. I appreciate that the alternator replacement was completed in one day. But I was disappointed in the attitude of the mechanic I asked a question of. His response was "You said you didn't want an inspection, so we didn't look for anything." My question was whether or not he had NOTICED a particular thing, not if they had inspected it. And furthermore, I did not say I DIDN'T want an inspection, I told them I had been into Les Schwab for a trip check, and LS said the alternator needed to be replaced. He was rude, surly even. Maybe he was tired, or hungry or....? I picked my car up before closing time, so that wasn't it. Also, I was given an estimate which I agreed to, expecting a new alternator would be installed.
