Todd's Point S Tire and Auto Service

I was having a relatively bad morning which was made worse when I heard what sounded like something in one of my tires. I went to Todd’s Point S Tire because it was close. I’d only been here one other time for a DEQ inspection and I’ve never bought tires from them. They found the object in my tire and repaired it in about a half hour. Super fast & super friendly. When I pulled out my wallet, the guy told me no charge for the repair. Thank you for brightening my fairly bad day! Highly recommend this place!

My 2008 Prius brakes were a little squeaky so I had them checked here. I was told that my front brakes were fine, but that my rear brakes were at 15% and needed to be replaced, for a price of over $500. I was told I also needed two tires. I had the tires replaced that day and made an appt. for the brakes. I was thinking the quoted price sounded high, so I called a brake shop nearby and asked how much they would charge & they said somewhere under $300. I also called a Prius specialist mechanic who had inspected the brakes before, who told me my brakes were likely fine. So I had him look at them & he says I absolutely don't need new rear brakes, they're at 95%. Now I'm wondering if I really needed the tires.

i can't recommend this place enough! incredible group of guys working here. extremely honest and kind, and were so patient with me when we brought in a friend's car that we didn't know all the specs of. i stopped here because it was the closest auto repair to where my tire went flat but i'll never take a car anywhere else in portland.
