Dave's Import Service Inc

Dave’s Import Service has been servicing my family’s vehicles for years and we send everyone we know their way. I’ve been bringing my BMW to them for the last year since the warranty was up and they do better work and charge much less than the dealership (not a surprise.) Tom, the gentleman who answers the phone, is ALWAYS kind, patient, and professional.

Honestly, I'm sure these these guys are knowledgeable, but their prices are ridiculous. My daughter 17 a college student was charged $990 for a fuel pressure regulator replacement. (This was after they admitted to marking up their profit on parts 37% and asking him to lower which he did to 30%) We did it because we had to so she could get to school and work. Now water pump has gone out and we called for an estimate and was quoted $1600, when asked about the 30% mark up, he said no because this part has a warranty so he was sticking to the 37% mark up. Wait, my first job done has a parts warranty as well. I called another very reputable mechanic in the area and was told $850. He has worked on this car before, but was backed up when I needed the fuel pressure regulator. I am understanding of making money to cover overhead, but this is a pure ripoff. Will be reporting to Better Business Bureau as well.

When I called with a headlight problem Dave's fixed it the very next morning. They even gave me a ride to and from while my Volvo was being serviced (about 2 hours). Very nice people. Very professional and the price was reasonable. I'm taking my car back next week for a windshield washer problem. Dave's has become my go to auto repair shop. Highly recommended.
