Matrix Integrated - Bend

Contacted Jeremy Williams about a larger fuel tank replacement for my Sprinter. Since it's still under warranty we talked about the that it can be replaced by another fuel tank and not void the warranty because of the Magnuson-Moss Warranty Act of 1975. That settled we headed for Matrix Integrated Bend, Oregon. I liked that they are in Bend a destination for Sprinters and exploration plus no sales tax(that's a big plus)and the tank was stocked. We set up a date and drove from Washington to have it installed. The staff was very professional and friendly. The shop is nicely laid out and clean with lifts for Sprinters and German vehicles. The staff is very friendly and professional and will drive you for coffee and shopping then pick you up. Matrix started on the fuel tank at 8 am and we were on the road at 2pm, very happy with a full tank of fuel enough to get me home with half a tank remaining. I was told Matrix was the best in the game so I drove half way across the state to take my car to them. So far the engine repairs are holding but it's only been ~100 miles. Labor is expensive. Was charged almost $1200 in labor for a repair I have done in under an hour using a different method but did not have time to do this time. Car was there for 5 weeks, there goes my time crunch. The office guy wanted to argue about what I wanted done to the car and could not tell me what the next step would be if the shop suggested repair failed as it has in the past when done by me and other Audi/VW shops. Then started to get an attitude and say things like "why did you bring it to us of you know what to do". Very unprofessional and a reminder of why I do my own work unless I don't have the time to do so.
