I’ve used this company before when the secretary was still here…I believe her name was Jenny. She always made sure I was taken care of quickly. She’s no longer employed there and service and customer service is at a zero. I took my car in believing that I just needed my rotors resurfaced. I got off work and went to pick up my car only to find out he did not do anything because he believed it to be a suspension problem. No call, but that’s okay. I just needed a quote on what it was going to cost because I recently had to pay for a funeral. I called twice in two weeks asking for the quote and he kept saying “one or two days” and I never heard back. My family and I aren’t using Abbotts any longer as our family automotive repair shop which sucks because we all drive Toyotas and Lexus’. I requested a complete diagnostic. I had let them know I was having overheating issues and engine misfire. I brought my car in and they fixed the overheating issue. I asked them about the engine misfire and they informed me they drove the car for a bit and did not feel anything. Then they informed me my tires are bad and I had asked if I could get new tires from them. They wanted to get the payment for the overheating issue first. They seemed very dodgy about doing an actual diagnostic on the engine misfire which makes me concerned that they did not actually do a full diagnostic, they just fixed the issues I had told them about. I paid them $1,200 for the diagnostic and repair. I am still driving a car that loses power during turns and has engine misfire. Now I believe my serpentine belt is going out and I simply cannot trust another mechanic completely fix my car. First time customer here! Just picked my Chevy Silverado up from Abbot Automotive yesterday, and I couldn’t be happier! The shop itself is super big and gorgeous. The owner Mark’s customer service and skills are top notch and unmatched elsewhere. They really care about the customer’s satisfaction and vehicle! Absolutely one of the most honest mechanics I’ve ever used. Sam in the office made sure to send me an electronic invoice with all the work that was to be done for me to approve before the work was ever done. I really liked that and felt like it was super honest and upfront practice. (Something you don’t always find in the mechanic industry). My truck is running so damn good and Mark himself even called me today to make sure everything felt good when I left. I went from a first time customer to a life long one!
