Tireman Auto Service Centers (Downtown Toledo)

Have used them off/on for about 3 years now. Typically do provide good service at decent prices (I price check around so I know). They gave me a great deal on a set of tires in 2021 especially - it was $200 less than other places as they matched a price at Costco and most tire shops who price match won't match Costco. Tires have been great since I got them. Sadly service seems to be going down hill. I get regular oil changes here as well typically. Last one I had at the end of March 2023. In April of 2023, the "change oil soon" light keeps coming on every time I start the car. Also was going to go on a road trip and my manual says it needs a transmission fluid change at 120k miles, which mine is now at 121k and I felt the transmission was being a bit more noticeable when it changes gears so thought it would be good to have them flush the fluid. On this visit, which was today 4/28/23. Also asked them to check the brakes that they put in (back in 2021 and front in 2022). When

I'd give them 5 stars for tire prices but here's my issues with FP Monroe St. I set up an appointment 2 days ahead of time, selected tires, they said they had them. I get there they don't have the tires I chose but had others in stock at a higher price per tire but ended up giving me a better deal that what I would have paid for the cheaper tires. I wish I remembered who I dealt with then, he was awesome but the mechanics are whole different story.

They can't even get a wheel alignment correct or they aren't trying to get it correct. Twice I had them try and it's still not right. Their accuse is they couldn't get a jam nuts loose on the rear end. Maybe try to use some heat and lube next time because that works wonders on bolts that haven't been dealt with in years. 95$ seems kinda steep for no effort to try. Maybe give me a job and I'll give it my ???? it's not rocket science you really don't need to be certified to turn a nut watch a screen..
