A trustworthy honest auto mechanic who provides excellent service is difficult to find and Kim and his team at Tarvin Auto are exceptional! Thats why I have trusted them to work on multiple vehicles over the last 30 years and I even towed my mother’s Escort down from Columbus many years ago because it needed some major repairs. How many mechanics would go out of their way to find used parts for an older vehicle or ask you “do you really want to put that much money” into a repair when it may not be worth the expense? I, like most people, tend to only rate places when I have a negative experience. I can't say enough good about the whole experience with Tarvin, start to finish. I told them up front i was in no hurry to get it back. I had my car towed there Wednesday at 3pm, by Thursday at noon they called giving me the diagnosis and price, and suggested a few other things (which I knew needed done) and gave me that estimate as well. I told them to go ahead with everything. The car was ready less than 24 hours later and at $150 LESS than the estimate. I have never had a total bill be less than the estimate. I wouldn't hesitate to use them again tomorrow.
