Verrazano Motorworks

I called early for an appointment and was told i could bring it in whenever worked best for me. Customer service on the phone was great - respectful and personable. When i brought my car in, I was offered an espresso which was much needed. I had an oil change done which was very quick. I heard my brakes squeaking so they checked it out and said that they were fine. I had a vehicle inspection done as well and had them check my tires in general. Overall, I had a great experience at Verrazano Motorworks. I met both owners who were also very personable. Would HIGHLY recommend this shop to anyone who needs any mechanical work done. I don’t like writing negative reviews because I know what it’s like owning a business but I’ve had a headache ever since I took my car here. I took my 2005 BMW X5 here because my car would start but after moving about 20ft the car would just die, I also has a check engine light. The car was fixed and it cost me $1,800. I was happy and was on my way. About 3-4 days later my check engine light came back on and I was confused why bc I had just spend all that money in repairs. The car was brought back to the shop and they told me they would fix it for a additional $800. I said absolutely not. This is the only shop I’ve been to where I paid almost 2 grand in repairs and my car was still not fixed. I’m not sure if they just didn’t feel like fixing all the repairs the car needed or what the case might have been but that’s that. Service: Engine repair

be careful when doing business with these guys. They told me that it was gonna take 10 hours and 2500$ to get my car fixed. I went to another place to get it done and it took 1 hour and only 150$. I don’t recommend doing business with them, they are money hungry and don’t deserve anything but 1 star.
