Still can’t get over the fact that I went here to get my a/c fix and Bert the owner didn’t want to help his worker Jay who clearly didn’t know what he was doing. He was putting the new air condenser or which ever part I got to fix the a/c. Can’t remember but when he was putting everything back he turned the engine on without the belt all the way on and my belt slipped. Then they ordered a new one and told me the old one was due to break and I had to pay for it. Insulting my intelligence as if I wasn’t standing there when they turned the car on and heard the loud cracking noise and all the other mechanic rushing to turn off my car. I asked Bert several times to help Jay to put the “new” belt on which he refused and said “ How will he learn if I help”. When he finally got done my a/c was not fixed and two days later the “new” belt they ordered and put on incorrectly slipped. Luckily I was just on Atlantic av and not on the highway because I definitely would have died. I probably would

Please don’t pay attention to the recent one-star reviews - it’s a few fake reviewers looking to mislead you. Bert and his crew are wonderful. They diagnose problems quickly and make appropriate, timely repairs. When something isn’t quite right, they do their best to make it right. I had an issue with tires that were replaced and Bert sorted it out expediently. His team also offered great advice on general maintenance. It’s especially comforting as a woman to know that they’ll be honest and do things right.
