 If you are looking for a fair and honest mechanic, go to #Route111Tire&Auto in Islip off 111. They have been so many times that the owner, Pete, could have taken advantage of me, but he did not. I live out east now and I still go to him because I know that he will take care of me and my car. Just wanted to share. If you are having issues with your car, or just want to winterize it before the snow hits I highly recommend them. There is nothing like a personal touch. The big corporate mechanics like Pep Boys don’t care and it’s a revolving door. Pete, knows me by name, and that is a good feeling.
