I came in to get my serpentine belt replaced as it came off during heavy rain. They were busy but managed to squeeze me in before closing on weekend. Service was good and they were friendly. Saji, who is one of the owner I believe, worked on my car and replaced the belt. At the end, he said my tensioner belt was not good and needed to be replaced and would have to leave the car the shop until Monday since they were closing. I decided to take the car to my local mechanic who I trust and he said the tensioner belt was fine and didn't need to be replaced. I felt Saji tried to upsell and repair something that was fine. Due to this, I was left disappointed and with mixed feelings about this shop. They charged me $50 to replace the belt which was a good price so I appreciated that. But I would not bring my car here again unless I knew what needed to be repaired. Honesty goes a long way and I felt Saji was not being transparent and honest about the repair.

John the owner goes above and beyond for his clients! I got referred here by family and will never go to another mechanic for my Mercedes again. He is honest, punctual, respectful, professional, knowledgeable, kind, and fair with pricing. He will physically go under the car and show you exactly what needs to be done, and show you the same after the work is done. I needed some routine maintenance done, and in an unrelated incident my vehicle ran into other issues. John stayed several hours past close time just to diagnose and fix the problem for me. This just goes to show what kind of a human being he is. All the positive reviews are absolutely true and I witnessed it for myself. Now I know why some people travel from very far just to service their vehicle here. Do yourself a favor and skip the dealership and any other indy you know of for all of your BMW/Mercedes needs and come to J&P Auto Repair!

John and Sagi are great—they are great mechanics, able to tackle complicated issues like an electrical short in my 07 Toyota Scion, and a noise coming from my 2012 Nissan Rogue even the Nissan dealer couldn’t pin down. They charge reasonable prices, aren’t looking to rip anybody off, and go the extra mile. John even drove my car home so I didn’t have to order an Uber. I will be bringing all my cars to them for routine maintenance and any other problems that come up. I highly recommend them.
