Bert was a life saver for me one late Saturday afternoon when I caught a flat tire. I was not able to change the tire on my own and was definitely pressed for time. The shop is conveniently on Main Street, near the highway exit I was initially stranded on. Bert changed my tire quickly and solved a rim spacing issue I had on the wheel. Don’t bring your car here. “Jim” at the front desk had a ton of mood swings, and was rude but nice at the same time, but I just took it as him not being happy with his job which is understandable. The problem was that they try to up sell you on things you don’t need as soon as you walk in the door before even looking at your car (red flag #1) Which sucks for people that aren’t mechanically inclined. All I went in for was an oil change which was still expensive at 140$ plus tax. it turned into me needing a new oil pan meanwhile the one I currently have is perfectly fine and had no visible leaks or any thing just a small dent which is normal. Once I wanted to leave Jim was upset and tried to guilt trip me into paying 800$ for a new oil pan with labor plus the cost of changing the oil. I feel bad for any customers they’ve had over the years that probably replaced things that didn’t need to be replaced or made things up just to get extra money.
