To regular car owner two things matter when they car needs a repair 1. Is mechanic going to do job properly 2. Price. Although i cant speak how Joes shop does its work (which is not like fixing space shuttle in space or making special mix of carbon alloy titanium kind of mix to weld it) its still just a car tweak or replacement of parts. Before giving a go with repair of my car i took opinion and estimates from several places. At the end i chose different than Joes and heres why. My car needed replacing parts but nothing serious, nothing related with engine or computing system…. So why for using same parts and time (which was done in 3 hours) Joes shop quoted me almost $600 more for the job than mechanic i let work on my car?! And thats why i would not recommend Joes shop. Once youre done, take your paperwork and know it has to be covered and repaired if something has been done not right, so why would you want to pay $600 more for it.
