Pep Boys

Sorry that I was in a bad situation with my vehicle and had to use this place. I needed a battery and they said $410 was the cheapest they had. Now having time to do my research, I can get a better battery at costco for $179. They totally screwed me on the price. I found that the average for this battery is $209-$239. Do your homework before buying from them or using them. Such a ripoff!!!!!!!!

Received no calls at all while my car was there. Given wrong information when I had to call them to know anything about my car. Several times nobody answered the phone. Car sat for a week with nothing being done because they didn’t tell us they were having trouble getting a part. And after all that the $600+ repair they did fixed nothing.

Worst auto store and company I have have been to. Be aware, if you purchased a car battery from this store and the battery goes bad under the warranty, which in my case was a 36 month warranty, they will not replace it with a new one. My battery was less than two years old and when I purchased the battery from them in the store, they told me I had a three year warranty on the battery. The so-called manager there, Omair, was rude and should not be a manager. Omair said that when you purchase the battery in the store, it is a different department than the repair shop? What? It is from Pep Boys either way you look at it! Managers are supposed to help the customer. Same goes for there 800 number, they also to did not help me with my battery. So I was stuck for a couple of days in Bayshore, lost a few days of work, until I finally had to go to another auto store to purchase a new battery. Will never shop at Pep Boys ever again!
