We will never use Rio Grande Automotive again. Dropped off a van early Thursday morning for a general safety inspection and regular services for the mileage interval. The van is a work vehicle and needed to be looked over due to it's higher mileage. Thursday came and went with no update on the vehicle's status. We called Friday morning to see what was happening with the vehicle and they told us that two techs didn't show up for work that morning, but assured it would be seen. Called around 2:15pm to see what the status was and was left on hold for 10 minutes. Once taken off hold they assured they would call me back after dealing with a customer. They never called back. Called them back at 3pm just asking for a status and letting them know that we could not have the vehicle there over the weekend, since we are on call all the time and may need it for our business. I was told that they would get to it and it would be done before closing (5pm)for the weekend. No call, nothing. Showed up

The mechanic shop is a working shop and these mechanics are working hard first thing in the morning. I appreciated the regular check ins with progress reports on my vehicle’s repairs. They also identified other issues and offered a fair offer for additional repairs as well. My vehicle is running well and the repair was completed correctly.
