I cannot say enough good things about this shop. Last week on the way to Asheville from Durham, I began to notice some noise coming from the front end of my Explorer. It got progressively worse. Turned off 40 and after stopping at a BP then an Autozone (I think) I was directed to this shop. I very much needed to get to Asheville for a trade show and was envisioning having to rent a car or having my wife drive from Durham – not good alternatives. I found the shop and although they were busy with a major repair, they did a test drive to see what was going on and put the truck on the lift and went to work. If I had gone to a franchise Ford place, I’d likely have to wait a day or two. After about 40 minutes the gentleman came to tell me that it had been fixed. Wish I knew his name. And fixed what could have caused very serious safety issues if it hadn’t been. I was prepared to pay a couple of hundred dollars. I won’t disclose what I had to pay because I don’t see how they can stay in busin

Great mechanics great service and genuine people that care about customer service. Steve and his son go above and beyond to make sure you are satisfied. Steve is a mechanic I assure you has the knowledge and experience to make sure your vehicle is in the best mechanical condition possible. Their tire prices are extremely reasonable and they have taken care of several leaks and I drive away with confidence that my tires will be fine. If you are in the area see them. If you need to be towed tell them you want to be taken to Wallburg's great mechanic.
